This traditional Chinese orchestra surprises me. In addition to ancient Chinese instruments such as erhu, pipa, sheng, suona, the orchestra also contains European classical ones - cello, double bass, and timpani.
一般來說，古典協奏曲多以小提琴和鋼琴為主。然在國樂裡，則非得由管樂器笙或嗩吶來當主角不可，音量方可凸顯出來。二胡、琵琶、古箏，音量都太弱了。
