The Plan after Early Retirement

I have been planning to preach the gospel to inexperienced engineers and bring good news to consumer electronics manufacturers after retirement since I worked for the well-known brand networking company and started to travel in China. After over thirty minutes of not being able to catch any taxi during rush hours many times in several locations downtown Shenzhen city , I changed my mind in the airplane coming back from that business trip. I decided to become a professional taxi driver. Taxi drivers are in demand while engineers are in competition.

依據聯合國道路交通公約，公約簽署國間，國際駕照與本國駕照正本同時出示的情況下，屬於合法駕駛。目前有美、英、法、日等180多個國家加入該公約。

中華人民共和國（不含港澳特別行政區）沒有加入該公約，因此在其境內駕駛時，使用國際駕照無效。各國駕照到中國都必須轉換為當地駕照方能上路。

記得之前到舊金山與渥太華機場租車的時候，除了國際駕照外，也被要求出示台灣駕照。
