Michelle committed to move from Taipei to St. Louis in twenty four hours and then engage in the classes and activities for the first week in Saint Louis University by the study plan she made in Taipei. Michelle scheduled to take Northwest Airlines to Detroit with a short stop in Tokyo and then transfer Delta Airlines to St. Louis.
The Northwest plane had been delayed for five hours. Michelle asked Delta staff a favor whether the plane to St. Louis could wait her for a while. Michelle ran at full speed with a laptop computer and a hand luggage from international Customs and Immigration to the domestic boarding gate. Finally Michelle was puffing when she saw the captain was closing the door of the cabin.
After a nightmare at Detroit Airport Michelle flied to St. Louis the next day. When Michelle arrived at the campus, she received a phone call form her sister Carol in Indianapolis. Carol told she had to undergo hand surgery and needed someone to take care of her six-month-old baby. Then Michelle flied to Indianapolis the next day.
…… Michelle had been stayed in Carol’s home for three weeks. ……
